Hi! My name is Sherrill Berte and I'm mom to Jillian (age 9), and twins Natalie and Emily (age 5). My girls are very busy and involved in a lot of activities. I found driving from one event or activity to another could often be quite challenging! Jillian would be in the middle with one twin on either side of her in the back seat, and I'd find myself navigating while trying to keep three kids engaged in the back, which lead me to some creative ideas to try to keep everyone occupied and..... "quiet!"
One of the things I came up with was a way to help Emily, who happens to have Down syndrome, with an activity that would help her keep up with her therapies. That's how I came up with "Therapy In A Flash." I made it convenient so that I could always have it in my purse, and it would be easy to reach in, grab it, and hand it off to her in the back. As time went on, I came up with more interesting ways to develop it to suit Emily's needs, and of course, Natalie had to have some of her own too!
Therapy In A Flash can be used for *any* young child! It helps develop skills and can reinforce concepts picked up in preschool or other educational programs. They're easy for little fingers to handle and the cards stay together! I can't tell you how many times I used them in a restaurant so that I could finish a quick meal away from home!
Many other moms would ask me where I got them and before I knew it, I was making them for other moms. Some of the children were special needs like our Emily, and some were children who benefited from having a way to entertain themselves. One thing was for sure though, the parents definitely benefited! After much encouragement, I am now offering Therapy In A Flash for sale.
